Description

The context in which the implementation of the ESL model is becoming an urgent requirement for educational institutions in Vietnam (with at least 20% of educational institutions nationwide planning to implement ESL) necessitates significant innovation in policies, learning materials, and the learning environment. This research focuses on analyzing the feasibility of applying the Flipped Classroom model combined with technology-integrated teaching methods. In this model, learners proactively access learning materials, video lectures, and pre-class assignments through a learning management system (LMS) and digital platforms; class time is focused on language practice activities, interactive communication, discussion, and problem-solving; after class, learners continue to reinforce, provide feedback, evaluate, and expand their knowledge in an online learning environment. The entire process before, during, and after class, as well as assessment and grading, including the management of the entire teaching and learning process and archiving, is organized synchronously through a digital learning resource ecosystem and supporting technologies, thereby enhancing the continuity, personalization, and effectiveness of the ESL-oriented learning process.
