TalkPal AI is an AI-powered language learning platform designed to improve students’ speaking skills through interactive and personalized practice. The platform offers a variety of learning modes, such as Chat, Roleplays, Characters, Debates, and Photo Mode, which help learners practice different aspects of communication in meaningful contexts.
TalkPal AI provides immediate feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary while encouraging spontaneous responses and natural interaction. Through engaging conversations and simulated real-life situations, students can develop greater fluency, confidence, and conversational reflexes. These features make the platform especially useful for gifted and high-achieving students who benefit from more challenging and dynamic speaking practice.
This presentation aims to demonstrate how TalkPal AI can be effectively integrated into English lessons to support communicative language teaching. It will also introduce several sample speaking tasks and classroom applications that encourage active participation, creativity, and critical thinking. By combining technology with interactive learning, TalkPal AI offers teachers a practical tool to enhance students’ speaking proficiency in both classroom and independent learning environments.
Biography
Hoàng Thị Huyền Nhung has over 20 years of experience teaching English at high school level. She is recognized as an Excellent Teacher at the provincial level and currently serves as the Head of the English Department. She holds a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching Methodology from SNU University, the United States. In addition to her teaching career, she is also the Director of NEC Education Company in Ha Noi. Her professional interests include communicative language teaching, teacher training, and the integration of educational technology into English classrooms. With extensive teaching and leadership experience, she is committed to improving students’ language proficiency and promoting innovative teaching practices.
Nguyễn Phan Trâm Anh is the Head of the English Department and an English teacher at Newton Grammar School, Ha Noi. She earned her Master’s degree in English Language Teaching Methodology from the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Ha Noi. She is passionate about creating engaging and student-centered learning environments that enhance students’ communication skills and confidence in using English. Her teaching interests include speaking skill development, classroom interaction, and the application of modern technology in language teaching.
Phạm Thị Ngọc Mai graduated with distinction from the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Ha Noi, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at VNU. She is an English teacher at Newton Grammar School, Ha Noi. With a strong academic background and enthusiasm for teaching, she actively applies innovative teaching methods to motivate students and improve their communicative competence. Her professional interests include language acquisition, interactive learning, and educational technology in English teaching.
