Description
In the era of digital education, vibe coding serves as a supportive
approach for both teachers and learners to enhance their teaching and
learning experience. This workshop explores the pedagogical prospect of Vibe
Coding, shifting the teacher’s role from passive users to active creators in ELT
practices. Conducted for participants with no programming experience, this
workshop instructs teachers how to design a tailored digital environment for
both learning and teaching English. Personalized pedagogical tools such as
interactive vocabulary flashcards, gamified quizzes, and customized
classroom timers will be created through detailed guidelines. By engaging in
iterative prompt engineering, participants are provided with a prompt template
to design their individualized tools. This will foster teachers’ AI literacy and
enhance their teaching experience in the upcoming lessons.
Biography
My name is Vo Nguyen Truc Quynh, a graduate English-major student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. I am currently working as a visiting lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics, an English teacher at the Language Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, and an English teacher at the Academy of Public Administration and Governance.
With three years of experience in English language teaching, I am particularly interested in English language education, teacher development, and educational technology. I am passionate about supporting students’ independent learning and am currently developing a Quizlet-based vocabulary project for K–12 learners.
In addition, I have had the opportunity to present my work at professional conferences, including VietTESOL 2025 and GloCALL x PacCALL 2026, where I shared research and practical applications of technology in language education. Through my teaching, research, and educational projects, I aim to bridge innovative technologies with effective language learning practices to enhance students’ learning experiences and autonomy.
