Description
Learner autonomy (LA) is widely recognised as a desirable goal in education. The activities helping learners foster authentic language use and LA are mainly autonomous language learning activities outside the classroom. This research aimed to gain useful insights into the activities and factors influencing the promotion of EFL LA. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used with a total of 100 students at TBD University. The findings indicated that the students had high levels of LA perception and made use of a variety of out-of-class activities.
