Speaker
Description
The purpose of this study is to find out how artificial intelligence (AI) might enhance the speaking abilities of minority ethnic high school pupils. The SpeechAce tool serves as a specific example of an AI tool with research-advancing potential in this work, which employs a quasi-experimental research approach. 76 high school students from a Thai Nguyen province high school were asked to participate in the survey for this study, and only 30 of them volunteered for the 8-week experiment. Tests and questionnaires are also used as the primary tools for gathering data. After examining its applications, capabilities, and limitations, the results demonstrate that the SpeechAce tool may significantly enhance academic research in general and teaching in particular. In particular, the SpeechAce tool can help improve the speaking abilities of high school pupils. However, when applying these techniques in research, there are some disadvantages to consider, including limited context comprehension, lack of domain experience, generalizability, and dependence on diverse and high-quality data. Thus, it is important to consider these limitations while using SpeechAce and integrate them with human interpretation and analysis.
