VIC2025: Announcement of Abstract Acceptance
We are thrilled to announce that the abstract review process for the VietTESOL International Convention (VIC) 2025 has been successfully completed. This year, many abstracts underwent rigorous evaluation, with many receiving over four reviews, leading to critical decisions about their acceptance.
In the coming days (26-30 June 2025), we will be sending out acceptance letters to the authors. Please keep an eye on your inbox for this important notification. If you have not heard from us, please stay tuned. We have to send emails in batches due to a very large number of email messages that need to be communicated during this period. All presenters can always check the status of their abstract by logging in the submission system at here. Congratulations to all whose abstracts have been accepted!
It is important to note that, in some cases, submissions have been accepted under a presentation type different from the one initially selected by the author(s). For example, an abstract originally submitted for oral presentation may have been accepted as a poster presentation. These decisions are based on a careful review of the abstract quality, content, and suitability for the overall program.
We kindly ask that you respect the decisions of the review committee. Requests to alter the assigned presentation type or to revert to the originally selected type will not be considered. While abstract acceptance decisions have already been issued, please be advised that the organizing committee reserves the right to revoke acceptance in cases of authorship requirement violations, duplicate submissions, or any form of academic misconduct. In such cases, a new email message will be sent to the authors, and the latest decision communicated by the committee is final.
If you would like to change the authors' details such as affiliate or email, you can do it by yourself or contact us at convention@viettesol.org.vn. You can also remove the co-authors from your abstract. However, you cannot add new authors to your accepted abstracts. If you are interested in submitting a full-text version of your paper for including in the convention proceedings, please refer to the important dates. We will have a call for full-text submissions of the papers once the convention is completed. Only the papers presented at the Convention are eligible for the proceedings.
